The hotel is in the centre of the old city, close to many good restaurants and shops. It is rumoured that there is a secret tunnel to the castle on the hill top behind the hotel. The hotel was formerly a nunnery and was built by the Marquis del Campo about 450 years ago. It is 800 metres from the beach. The hotel has 43 recently refurbished bedrooms, including 5 triples, 23 doubles and 15 singles. There are 12 adjoining rooms with interconnecting doors, which can be configured as family suites. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with showers or baths. All rooms have air conditioning, hairdryers, safety deposit boxes and ceiling fans.
