Located in the hills above Parma, this 11th-century Medieval castle boasts a spectacular view over the hilly countryside, the wide plains of the Po River, and up to the Alps. The hotel is situated in the heart of the gastronomic centre of Italy; this is the home of the world-famous Parmesan cheese and the Parma ham. The area has also been known since ancient times for its natural spas, both in Tabiano Bagni (1 km) and in nearby Salsomaggiore (3 km). Within the Medieval walls of Antico Borgo Di Tabiano Castello, and surrounded by gardens with olive trees, you can enjoy use of the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and solarium, with a spectacular view of the countryside. Inside, the relax area offers a sauna, Turkish bath in a natural cave, and the possibility of massage ranging from traditional to shiatsu. The Relais contains 11 suites, all different both in configuration and furnishing. All have a spectacular view over the countryside and the wide plains of the Po River.
