Renovated in 2008, Hotel Cezanne is the only boutique hotel in Aix-en-Provence’s historical centre. It is located a 5-minute walk from the Cours Mirabeau and surrounded by museums and restaurants. This traditional establishment retains all its old-world charm yet has been transformed into a trendy hotel. The permanent pieces of art exhibited in the Cezanne and the stunning wall murals by Zidan make Hotel Cezanne truly unique. Admirers of Cezanne and Picasso must not miss the Soleil en Face exhibition at Aix-en-Provence’s Musée Granet. It is devoted to the influence Cezanne had on Picasso’s work and the birth of Cubism. The exhibition will run from 25 May to 27 September 2009. All the suites and luxury rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and include king-size beds and soft pillows.
