Built in 1917 and fully-renovated in 2006, this hotel is full of history and located in beautiful mountain surroundings overlooked by a rocky outcrop capped by a ruined Moorish castle. It has been carefully restored as to keep the style from years gone by and the charm that attracted many famous faces including Federico Garcia Lorca. Lanjarón is the door to the Alpujarra and area where Arabs stayed a century longer that in the rest of Spain- nailed strategically in the southern slope of Sierra Nevada Natural Park, only 20 minutes away from the Costa Tropical and half an hour from the city of Granada. The rooms preserve its original structure from the beginning of the last century, its doors are 2.60 meters high. Rooms offer great facilities for a pleasant stay. Rooms with terrace or balcony are subject to availability.
