Just 3 km from Barcelona city centre, this innovative 4-star hotel is conveniently located for the airport and a short walk from the Fira II exhibition and events centre. The hotel’s convenient location means it has good access to the city’s fast, efficient public transport network. There is a frequent, regular bus service and the R5 train takes you from Europa Fira to Plaça Espanya in under 10 minutes. As well as stylish and elegant contemporary accommodation, the hotel is fully-equipped with a great range of impressive services and facilities, including a designer restaurant and a business centre with 24-hour computer facilities. There is also a spa area with a free gym, a jet swimming pool, a sauna and a steam room. The spa area offers a range of relaxing and therapeutic treatments, but is closed on Sundays. In addition, the hotel boasts 6 well-appointed meeting rooms.

  • Positive: The personnel was nice, especially the people who took care of the meeting room.
  • Negative: The room standard and the organisation. There was several misunderstandings about the booking and it took a long time during check-out since no one really knew who should pay for what etc.

  • Cleanliness: Not rated The rooms weren't clean, there were dead mosquitos everywhere and dust both in the bathroom and the room itself.
  • Location: 5 Since we were in the congress centre the location was fine.
  • Common facilities and services: Not rated The restaurant wasn't very nice and it said the hotel had a pool but it wasn't available.
  • Staff: 5 The staff who handled the meeting room were very nice, but the people in the reception could be a bit rude from time to time.
  • Quietness: 2.5 There wasn't any soundproofing so you could hear when people were walking outside in the corridor.
  • Room: Not rated The room was very small and not clean.
  • Value for money: 5 Since the hotel was pretty cheap, I can understand some of the things mentioned above. But I still think the rooms should be clean and the personnel should be organised and polite.

  • Negative: Nothing works properly. The sink was blocked, the bath as well. I could not use the fridge without buying anything. The pool does not work, all other facilities do not work as well. Receptionists were not very kind - could not explain properly what actualy is working there. Poor condition of the rooms. We have been to another 4* hotel in Barcelona, the name is Abba Garden Hotel. Please book a room for yourself and see what does it mean - 4* hotel + exelent services!!!
