This walled villa, established 6 centuries ago under the same Serristori coat of arms, has survived from the end of the Medieval ages to the unification of Italy. Today, the villa has been revitalised with new life, immortalising its history in the cultures of art and beauty. A swimming pool has also been built in this old structure under the castle’s walls. Here, you can also enjoy a modern sauna or the gym (please note that the swimming pool is open from 1 May until 15 October). Full of artistic heritage, the Villa Casagrande, a highly regarded residence of Popes, Kings and Queens, offers 60 rooms, recently renovated and equipped with all modern comforts. However, this renovation has not detracted from the hotel's 14th century charm.
