Dating back to the early Middle Ages, this enchanting new hotel was once the country retreat of a noble family from the nearby town of Montepulciano. Over the centuries the families who owned the villa transformed the ancient structure with frescoes, coats of arms and paintings, and there is the vaulted cellar, possibly Etruscan, which houses local wine and olive oil, and on occasion wine tastings. During your stay you can relax in the grounds of the hotel, complete with a typical Italian garden which opens up onto the small church, and a swimming pool with jacuzzi which is immersed in the olive oil grove, with a view looking over the Tuscan countryside. Bedrooms are located on the ground, 1st and 2nd floor. All bedrooms have an en suite bathroom with hairdryer. There are 2 separate bedroom-cottages with fireplace and own garden, and one 2-bedroom-cottage with fireplace and garden. Some beds are twin and others double. Please note: the hotel does not have a lift.
