Ce petit hôtel exclusif, ouvert en 2006, est aménagé dans une aile du magnifique château des comtes de Biandrate. On y jouit d'une belle vue dégagée sur un parc centenaire et sur les Alpes. Érigé sur un promontoire rocheux, le château était à l'origine une forteresse militaire mais il a été plusieurs fois reconstruit, au cours des siècles. En 1726, les tours médiévales ont été démolies pour faire place à un majestueux palais, sur trois étages, avec trois ailes séparées par des courettes. On est impressionné par l'ampleur du bâtiment, quand on pénètre dans le hall central ouvert sur toute la hauteur des trois étages, tel un atrium. À partir du hall, on rejoint les ravissantes chambres polychromes. Cet hôtel est un bon choix pour organiser une réunion. Il abrite quinze salle de congrès entièrement équipées, d'une capacité d'accueil de deux-cent personnes. Il est également bien situé pour qui souhaite découvrir la ville de San-Gorgio et ses multiples attractions culturelles.
