Situated along the Ramblas, in the heart of the Gothic quarter, the hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of many of Barcelona’s major attractions. The accommodation is light and airy and some of the rooms boast views of the multi-coloured towers of Palau Güell, located just opposite. It is also situated next to the Gran Teatre del Liceu, a famous opera house and being on the Ramblas there are many other landmarks and tourist sites right on your doorstep. The hotel building dates back to 1964 and was renovated into a hotel for the ‘92 Olympic Games. The hotel, having been renovated again, is modern and avant-garde and retains many original features. There is also a free gym and wireless internet connection. The hotel has both smoking and non-smoking rooms (your preference will be taken into account but is subject to availability). The rooms are large and comfortable and those on the top floors have their own terraces with stunning views of Barcelona, Montjuïc and the harbour.
